Developer Technology Engineer

We are seeking a passionate colleague to work as a Developer Technology Engineer to research parallel algorithms, accelerate HPC workloads, and eliminate system bottlenecks.

Requirements & Eligibility
- PhD degree in high-performance computing or simulation field, or equivalent experience and 3+ years of relevant work
- Strong communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management, and task prioritization skills
- Strong knowledge of C++, software development, programming techniques, and algorithms
- Strong knowledge of CUDA and parallel computing
- Proficiency in Computational Science and Engineering, including numerical methods, physics-based simulation, HPC workflows, and simulation-based Physical AI applications
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating closely with key application developers to understand and address their current and future challenges
- Developing and optimizing core parallel algorithms and data structures, providing top solutions with GPUs through reference code and direct app contributions
- Working intimately with diverse groups at NVIDIA including architecture, research, libraries, tools, and system software teams
- Researching and developing innovative techniques in HPC or Physical AI, conducting comprehensive analysis and optimization
