Requirements & Eligibility
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar
- > 7 years proven experience managing complex projects or programs in research and product development in the medical device industry preferably in the field of precision mechanics
- Experience with product and process development aligned with ISO 13485 requirements
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Mastering the Dutch & English language
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior technical authority and subject-matter expert for medical device development, leading complex product development projects from initiation through commercialization
- Develop and review system architectures, product requirements, design concepts, specifications, and technical documentation
- Provide technical mentorship and coaching to engineers and project team members
- Lead cross-functional projects and develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource requirements, milestones, and deliverables
- Represent Articulating Technologies as a primary contact, communicating with internal and external customers and vendors
- Escalate critical issues and make recommendations regarding project priorities and resource allocation
- Collaborate closely with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Commercial teams
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Operations to transition products into production
